Well on the back of the clean sweep for tipping at UFC 204, we are now ready for an historic UFC 205 in New York, headlined by the one and Only Conor Mcgregor.  This is an historic event for many reasons, we have 3 titles on the line and Conor McGregor has the opportunity to become the first person to hold two titles in two weight divisions at the same time.

Here is the main card tips:

Meisha Tate vs Raquel Pennington

Well here we have the battle of two fighters both with pillow hands.  Both have very similar styles however Tate will have the advantage on the ground.  Neither of them possess the power to blow out a candle so watch Tate take this to the ground and use her Ju-Jitsu to bring home the win.  I see Tate taking this by unanimous decision in what could be a snooze fest.

Wiedman vs Romero

Former champion Wiedman is taking on Soldier of God Romero, this is going to be a barn burner and don’t blink it could be over quick.  Both possess KO power and both are exceptional wrestlers.  The winner of this should be the next in line for a shot at Michael Bisping.  Smart money wouldn’t bet here, in what I see as a flip of the coin, but look I'm not smart so I see Wiedman being to big and strong and taking the win via TKO in the 2nd.

Jedrzejczyk vs Kowalkiewicz

Exactly -  you try to say both those names, good luck Joe Rogan.  Here we have the women Straweight title on the line.  Both women are undefeated in their professional career’s however what many don’t know is they fought each other as amatuers, with Joanna taking the win.  I see the same thing happening again with her tradmark high volume striking game and overwhelming her opponent.  Jedrzejczyk by TKO in the 2nd.

Woodley vs Thompson

Wow this is an exciting match up of technique vs power.  Woodley is the Champion and is coming off a huge KO of former champion Robbie Lawler; he is big and strong and has massive KO power in both hands.  Wonderboy Thompson is tall and lean and arguably one of the most technicial strikers in the UFC.  Im calling we have a new champion here in Wonderboy, I think he will weather the storm and pick Woodley apart from a distance.  Thompson by tko in the 3rd.

McGregor vs Alvarez

Words cant explain how excited I am for this match. I'm simply going to say that history will be made and Conor taking the lightweight title here.  Don’t get me wrong Alvarez is no slouch and is probably the best fighter McGregor has ever faced. Expect fireworks early.  Eddies only chance is to take McGregor down and grind out a win.  Conor McGregor by KO in the 1st.
