Been a while sorry…might be a blessing for some of you…but I have a good 30-1 shot

I really can’t see why it’s such big odds based on one bad run.

Last start it ran last when resuming for Tony Gollan at Eagle Farm.  It got taken on in front from a bad barrier and then was hard up against the fence in the Eagle Farm straight which has been well documented as a complete no go zone.

Prior to that he ran second to Fell Swoop in the Group 2 Victory Stakes over 1200m when led and this time last year won the Group 3 George Moore over 1200m by 3.5 lengths in near track record time (1:08.17).

I respect the top weight Shiraz but 59kgs form barrier 13 should stop him.  The field then drops away a bit.

There also doesn’t seem to be a lot of pace in the race so should be leading over the suitable 1100m course.

You’ll be in with 50m to go…hopefully it will still be 2 in front then…
