Welcome to Week 9, Sports360 fans and here’s to an early start Monday morning!
Let’s lead off with the televised game on 7Mate at 4 am Queensland time, the Pittsburgh Steelers at the Baltimore Ravens. Normally, I would give this game to the Steelers, but Big Ben just had knee surgery on October 17th. There is a possibility he may start, but that will be a game time decision. The early line has the Ravens -3, but most books are not taking bets yet, due to Roethlisberger being questionable. Take the Ravens whether Ben plays or not.
The next game on Mate (7:25 am) features the Indianapolis Colts at the Green Bay Packers. The Cheeseheads have something to cheer about even though they lost a close one in the last minute to Atlanta last week. Aaron Rodgers is looking a bit more like the Rodgers of old. Some of the Packers defense are coming back from injury so I think Andrew Luck is going to get pummeled some more. The Packers are -7 (1.90) on Luxbet. I like Green Bay covering that spread.
The last game on Mate is the best of the week and the toughest to call. The 6 and 2 Denver Broncos at the 6 and 2 Oakland Raiders. Vegas has the Raiders -1. Derek Carr is playing like the franchise player the Raiders expected him to be. He’s got a great receiving tandem in Crabtree and Cooper, but they are up against that Super Bowl winning defense led by Von Miller. This game will have a playoff feel to it, especially being televised nationally on a Sunday night. Watch this one just to see the crazy outfits in the stands. If you are betting, take the Raiders at 1.85 head to head on Luxbet. 11:30 am on 7Mate.
Value play of the week: Detroit Lions 3.25 on Luxbet. 4 am start.
