THE SPORTS WIDOW 2017 #2

Good afternoon sisters and fellow Sports Widows. More Big Bash followed by another game of Big Bash followed by Australia playing someone in cricket. When will the torture end. In between the Big bash this week His Highness has been channel hopping to the tennis. Ohh to be at the tennis live rather than snippets in between cricket, more importantly living it up in Melbourne instead of having to stay up and listen to the drivel coming from our TV room.

I promised revenge on His Highness after Boxing day down the coast and revenge was served cold. I informed him that I had cancelled Foxtel as part of 2017 budgeting/savings program. You should have heard the noise/agony. It was like a cow giving birth but the cow didn’t have the awful screwed up face like a squashed cumquat. Anyway, things settled down when His Highness stated that “all the sport at present is on free to air and when the footy starts I will just go to the Pub and watch it.” To which I replied “great – then I can watch all my shows – I only cancelled the sport and racing !!!” Say no more – revenge.
