Good afternoon Bombers – What a weekend of racing and sport just gone, plus it coincided with the “Weekend of Brando Birthday Celebrations” which were relatively low key compared to Fraser Island albeit it is fair to say that I was a little weary on Monday. Winx got home in a 3 horse match race and in the other 3 Group 1’s the favs also got up. The Wallabies had a win in London and the Diamonds beat the Silver Ferns in netball. Bathurst was won by the Davison/Webb team after a 15 second time penalty to chequered flag winner Jamie Whingecup by the Stewards for a tangle with 11 laps to go. Protest lodged and watch this space. I have two new short segments – BOG and Deal of the week. This weekend is a ripper as well. The richest 2400m horse race in the world tomorrow – The Caulfield Cup. Follow that into Diamonds v The Silver Ferns and then the Kangaroos v Kiwis in Perth. Good afternoon girls. The weekend was fraught with peril with “The Weekend of Brando Birthday Celebrations” as His Highness called it. Well it certainly was – Friday for lunch then kid’s pickup from school and then dinner with his stars (aka kids) at some Mexican joint – no doubt a few Coronas. Saturday was about the 4 Group 1’s at Caulfield and more cans. I said to His Highness I would take him shopping on Sunday morning for his birthday but upon his awakening he stated that he was not feeling well. So I said “maybe later”.

Got a midweek special – just in time to get the bank ready for Caulfield Cup day…
