The weekend of sport started earlier than usual with those idiots from the Aussie Rules scheduling a game on Thursday night and to add salt to my already exposed wound – it was West Coast. See sisters, His Highness hates anything from Perth so the incessant rants were at a higher than usual decibel level. I mentioned to him I had an important early morning meeting and if he could keep it to a dull roar. He responded with a loud giggle “at least you will know who won the first AFL Final, the people you are meeting might be AFL fans”. To that I slammed the bedroom door and promptly locked it – onto the couch for the night for His Highness.
