Great weather, plenty of banter and more cans than an Alcan factory. A fairy tale weekend for the Bulldogs and Cronulla winning the respective GF’s. You Bombers should have backed them both as I tipped the Swans and Storm!!! What to do with no footy on this weekend?? Well let me assist you driving your Sports Widow mad. The Roar open the A League comp tonight at Suncorp against the Victory. Four Group 1’s at Caulfield and the end of the Spring Carnival at Randwick tomorrow. Then Sunday – Bathurst 1000 – they go round and fuc.in round. The Wallabies take on the Pumas in London Sunday at 4.30am – I will be up as today starts the “Weekend of Brando Birthday Bizarre”. So plenty to drive your offsider mad and if that is not enough go to Malaysia in a set of di.k togs and skoll some grog at a sporting event – that will drive her mad!!   Here we go:

Good afternoon girls. His Highness was cheered off Friday afternoon on his fishing trip and I was off to Nickel in the valley for some cocktails. On Saturday afternoon my massage was about to commence when I received a text from his Highness asking me to send him10 minute updates on the AFL final as he had no TV or data coverage at Fraser Island. “OK” I said. Two minutes later – a text came through – “who won the toss?” My response “at massage will send through some details in an hour and a half”. His response – “ok I will text my ex-wife”. Good afternoon girls. Great news – His Highness is going fishing this Friday with his mates for 6 days. No Grand Final weekend events, yelling at the TV and no him for 6 days will be heaven. The Saints are 1.68 and the line is -2.5 (1.83). There isn’t a winning record in this division yet. Falcons are 1-1 and the Saints are 0-2. But, the Saints are at home and that is the advantage. Saints QB Drew Brees is off to a good start passing wise and has a successful history on Monday Nights. Look for a high scoring affair and take the Saints -3 points.
